1.

Litigation & Arbitration

• Managing Company litigation (Corporate Litigation) before various forum i.e. Supreme Court, High court, District Court, Arbitral Tribunal and other Quasi Judicial Authorities and arbitration matters.

• Briefing Solicitors, Senior Advocates on Company’s litigations before Supreme Court, High Court and Arbitral Tribunals.

• Drafting and Vetting of pleadings, Replies and Evidences.

• Attend hearings and appraise the Management on the outcome of the hearing.

• Review and finalisation of Counsel’s fee bills and monitor legal expenses.

Corporate Advisory and Contract Management

• To provide legal advisory on various matters concerning company’s business.

• Identification/ analysis of critical legal issues and render legal advice to various verticals including Project Team and Commercial Team.

3.

Documentation and Corporate work

• Drafting and vetting of all types of documentations including but not limited to Agreements, MOU, Work Orders, Purchase Orders, General Conditions of Contract (GCC), Special Conditions of Contracts (SCC) and other documents required by various departments.

• Reply to Legal Notice received by the Company from Advocates.

4.

MIS Reporting

• Maintain MIS for all cases filed by and against the Company and periodically appraise their status to the management.

5.

Research Work

• Carry out research works including preparation of analytical notes and legal issues.

6.

Trademark/ IPR

• Keep watch on all Trademarks registered / applied for Registration by the Company.
